| THE WINERY  | |
|
The vineyard of Cauhapé is located in the heart of the Jurançon region, between Pyrénées and Atlantique. The 40 hectares of Petit and Gros Manseng are farmed by Henri Ramonteu, a passionate wine-grower, very dedicated to the terroir Bearnais he preserves in order to enhance all its generosity.
Its dry Jurançons secs, made from the Gros Manseng plots, offer a great richness, and wide range of aromas, while the Petit Manseng grape variety gives birth to great mellow wines, a concentrate of splendid flavours.
The wines of the Cauhapé vineyard has a great fame, designed as « exceptional » by the Parker guide, and classified among the « 100 most prestigious wines of the world » by Pierre Casamayor.
