« The Gascon summer ! » 
The reason why this wine is called « l’Eté Gascon », is because winter arrives always late in Gascony, as if it was stopped by the Pyrénées mountains. Known as the « Gascon summer », this microclimate helps the overmaturation of the latest grapes of Pellehaut.
This unusual blend of Chardonnay and Gros Manseng has an expressive nose with tropical fruit aroma. In the mouth, the wine offers a perfect balance between the residual sugar and the freshness of the acidity.

| THE WINERY | |
|
Located in Ténarèze, close to the Bas-Armagnac region, the Bérauts have been producing wine for more than three centuries. Their estate covers 530 hectares of which 180 hectares are vines. Their vineyards are situated on the slopes of Château de Pellehaut where they benefit from a great variety of soils and a maximum amount of sunshine. The low land of the estate is reserved for cattle and cereal crops. Gaston Béraut and his sons try to preserve the environment while respecting ancestral methods and natural balance. They use a first-rate manure for the vines made from straw from their ‘Blonde d’Aquitaine’ (cows).
Domaine de Pellehaut is becoming famous in France as well as in foreign countries thanks to a rigorous policy of quality both in the vineyard and in the winery. Pellehaut’s Côtes de Gascogne Cuvée Harmonie are aromatic and refreshing wines to be drunk young whereas their patient wines are well-balanced with great elegance, a powerful aromatic nose and intense flavours on the palate to be drunk within two to four years after the vintage.
The Bérauts have not limited themselves to wines but they also produce a great Armagnac du Ténarèze. This rich Armagnac mixes sweetness with complexity on delicious and aromatic notes of Folle Blanche.
