	THE WINERY

	Located in Méreau (the Cher, in the Loire Valley), South-West of the Sancerre appellation, the Domaine de Chevilly belongs to Mr Yves Lestourgie. This family estate spreads over 9 ha of sandy and gravelly plateau which gives to the unique varietal of the Domaine, Sauvignon, a mineral character mixed with fresh tastes of citrus and exotic fruits as well as notes of pierre à fusil (flintstone). The Quincy appellation is an excellent alternative to Sancerre white wines and provides a very good value for money spent. Well-structured, this elegant wine is delicious as an aperitif or with plain fish dishes.
