Great winemaker of the Madiran and Pacherenc du Vic-Bilh appellations, Alain Brumont produces fabulous wines with the grape varieties planted on his domaine of 140 ha. In 1979, Alain Brumont took over Château Montus to extend the family estate, Château Bouscassé. He now runs with great care his two estates following the biodynamic principles and makes no compromise in his winemaking. The result of the colossal amount of research and adapting he has led is a worldwide recognition of the wines he produced and which are sought-after by all discerning wine lovers.
Château Montus Bouscassé red wines composed of Tannat, Cabernet, Fer Servadou possess a great delicacy of tannins. Very complex, well-balanced, they are fresh with a touch a dark berries.
Very good value, these wines could be defined as the coming together of a man, Alain Brumont, a grape variety, Tannat and a specific terroir, a lovely outcrop of the slopes of Madiran.
