| THE WINERY  | |
|
Cave d’Embres et Castelmaure, nestled in the Corbières hills (between Perpignan and Narbonne), is one of the most dynamic co-operative in the Languedoc and unquestionably the best for many wine lovers. In this region, a small, leading group of winemakers closely involved itself in observing the vines and taking care of them.
From this rugged and dramatic landscape wines of great concentration and full of mineral extracts are produced. Grenache, Carignan, Syrah, Cinsault and Mourvèdre are planted on a rocky and arid soil made of schist and limestone. This unique terroir gives wines famous for their distinctiveness.
Cave d’Embres et Castelmaure focus on quality from the vineyard to the winery much more than on quantity. Thanks to the regular quality of its wines, this co-operative is places at the top of the Corbières appellation.
Great wine at a very good price.
