Château Gloria was created after the Second World War with the acquisition of different plots which all shared the common point of being located on terroirs of top quality. The 48 ha vineyards are planted with 65% Cabernet Sauvignon and 25% Merlot on soils of gravel. With a remarkable average age of 45 years, vines are mostly between 30 and 80 years old.
The President of the Girondins de Bordeaux, Jean-Louis Triaud is the owner of this famous Cru Bourgeois since the death of his forefather, Henri Martin. The challenger has become a favourite and it can be said that Château Gloria bears well its name.
