	THE WINERY

	Château Haut-Bages Averous is the second label of Château Lynch-Bages , which was owned by the Lynch family for three quarters of a century. This estate used to be called “Domaine de Bages”, in reference to the very ancient hamlet of Bages. It was purchased by the Cazes family in 1938. The estate is now run by the fourth generation who also owns Château Les Ormes de Pez and Villa Bel-Air. The vineyards of 90 hectares are situated at the gates of Pauillac, on one of the most beautiful gravel ridges of the commune, the Bages plateau which overlooks the Gironde estuary. With a style close to that of Lynch-Bages, Château Haut-Bages Averous will give you lots of pleasure. You just have to welcome it in your cellar....
