Taken over by the Grassa family in 1912, Domaine du Tariquet is located in a small region called Gascony, on the edge of the Landes. From 5 hectares planted with vines and neglected, Le Tariquet has been extended and now spreads over 1000 hectares planted with vines and fruit trees.
Le Tariquet is now renowned not only in France but also in foreign countries… A production of dry and sweet white wines with traditional grape varieties such as Ugni Blanc, Colombard, Gros Manseng combined with modern vinification lead to particularly charming and fruity wines which can be enjoyed young…
Besides white wines, Le Tariquet produces great Armagnacs, wonderful eaux-de-vie and Flocs de Gascogne marrying the fruit and the sweetness of the grape with the Armagnac’s authenticity and balance.
